A WATERLESS® URINAL SAVES UP TO 45,000 GALLONS OF WATER AND MORE PER YEAR

HOW DOES IT WORK??

1. Urine flows down into the EcoTrap® drain insert
2. In the EcoTrap® the urine passes through a floating layer of BlueSeal® liquid, which forms a barrier that prevents sewer vapors from escaping to the rest room atmosphere.
3. Urine under the barrier layer overflows into the central tube and runs down to the conventional drain line.
4.The layer of approx. 3 ounces of BlueSeal® will last for a minimum of 1500 sanitary uses. The liquid is then simply replenished. Task time: 20 seconds
5. The EcoTrap® retains urine sediments and is easily replaced 2-4 times a year according to traffic to the fixture. A special tool - the X-Traptor® - is unused to remove the EcoTrap®. This deters vandalism. Task Time: 3-4 minutes
6. Drain lines are free of encrustations. They are easily accessed by removing the EcoTrap® with

BlueSeal® is our long lasting and biodegradable trap seal liquid. BlueSeal® has a specific gravity lower than water or urine. It therefore remains for an extended period of time in the trap with urinal use (small amount do get carried out with each urinal use), or BlueSeal® remains indefinitely in the trap with no use, sealing trap odors.

BlueSeal® has zero evaporation at 100 degrees and does not freeze above -70 degrees Fahrenheit. The non-freezing feature allows facilities to eliminate or reduce urinal winterization costs.

Commercially available cleaners will not harm the BlueSeal® in the EcoTrap®.

BlueSeal® is simply added in 3 ounce portions to the urinal into the urinal EcoTrap®.
